It is recommended to use the Pocket Counter alongside the Carbs & Cals & Protein & Fat weight loss book or the Carbs & Cals diabetes book. These main books are great for use at home, as they contain up to 6 portions of each food and allow easy comparison to the food on your plate. The Pocket Counter contains the same foods as the main books, but with only 1 or 2 portions of each food. It is ⅓ of the size & weight, so great to keep in your bag for using when out & about (especially in restaurants).
